Camryn's New Room...Middle School Style

As I'm sure you can already tell, Cami is the total Diva, Free Spirited, Gypsy of the family. She is our outside of the box thinker who definitely marches to the beat of her own drum. Sometimes when having such a creative kid they can not only change their minds and style all of the time but she also tends to be a HOT MESS as well (just like her mom haha!). When we moved into our house Camryn was going into the 4th grade so needless to say her taste has changed a lot, especially since she will now be a "Big Bad 7th grader". In the past I usually bought her furniture from PB Teen or Restoration Hardware but I wasn't wanting to spend as much money knowing she will change her mind in a couple of years and probably not take the best care of everything. I also found this to be a good opportunity to show her how to "ball out on a budget" AND have a better appreciation for her things and how much they cost. We decided that based on the style she was wanting to achieve we shopped at a few different places such as Target, Wayfair, Houzz and Ikea. She completely came up with this room's concept all on her own and I think it turned out really cute! Shop the entire room below!
