Southern Style 5 Cheese Mac n' Cheese
Although I may be Italian, I am also a girl from the south and being raised here my entire life I have learned to appreciate true southern food. It is also one of my favorite styles of food to eat. I can't eat it too often or I would be the size of a house but sometimes, you just need some good 'ole comfort food. Ya see, my moms family were all immigrants from Italy and lived in all boroughs of New York but my dad's family is a completely different story. He is from a small town outside of Athens called Monroe, Ga so when I was a little girl I would go stay with my grandparents sometimes during the summers and my grandma made THE BEST southern food. This is where so many memories of eating all of the greasy unhealthy food you can think of came from. So today I am sharing with you a recipe I have made some tweaks to put my own signature on it and I hope you love it as much as I do. Trust me, it's worth the 3 mile run you're going to need after you eat it. Haha!
